I've been reading court decisions all day. Overall, a generally decent episode, now make with the do and give Sokka some respectable role. That said, his Blue Spirit form in the end makes me wonder what he's up to. How he deals with it there was precious (and his Iroh was funny as ever, heh). I loved he's reactions towards his new level as nothing but a commoner, something he's never experienced. I would love to know what role she'll play. I am also very intrigued on the mysterious girl that Aang might see in the future. I wonder if more of Katara's relationship with her mother will be played out.

Kudos to the animators for not making Katara's mom show her face, leaves it all the more mysterious. I love the main characters seeing their lost ones. That critisizm aside (and a slightly rushed feel, not like last week's though), the episode was generally good. I get he makes good comic relief and he's just wonderful at it ("Why does everything wanna attach to me!?"), but I feel so sorry for him that he always gets the short end of the stick. That said, Sokka still needs some respect. I hope something will develop because of this. That said, her words, "You didn't protect me" would make a killer Sokka-related episode. Too bad Sokka doesn't take it too seriously due to his beliefs. Let's see if Nick can actually stick to showing two Avatars eps in a row like they should).įinally! Yue is mentioned. Let's hope the one in two weeks is just as good.

The beginning and ending were also a nice tease, with Zuko getting vengence against that swordman as the blue spirit (for a second I thought he was fighting against Azula or something).

Must be a more specific type of earthbending). Also, I think this is the first time we've seen someone use waterbending to make more then just water and ice and actually use grass like elements (or at least swamp roots anyway. Wonder who the mysterious girl Aang saw was though? Perhaps another airbender? I mean she was moving around rather quickly and it's not like it's been proven that ALL the other airbenders were killed by the fire nation). And yeah the visions were a nice treat (Sokka seeing Yue and admitting that he thinks about her a lot was good to hear, as well as Katara crying over the loss of her mom. I liked how the swamp was in essance just one big tree and how if you listened hard enough you could "hear everything" or whatever. This was a nice renedition of the classic "get lost somewhere in a place that or may not be magical/mystical, but in most cases is".
